Not a chance. Obama will win the US election for the same reason Rudd won the Australian election. Republicans have held power for too long and are too much associated with the Bush fiascoes.
For all his inexperience, Obama has the intelligence to learn quickly on the job. While he remains an unkmown to some extent, his perceived innocenec is exactly what a bruised American population is looking for and may serve them well.
We need to keep an open mind for his potential against what is pretty much a more of the same type candidate in McCain
