An interesting assortment of companies. Some pure specs without any resource (eg PRE) others with JORC defined reserve/resource.

This makes it hard to rank.

I had some COK at 18 cents but took profits to offset losses elsewhere. Very sound management and strong relationship with Korea and Japan companies so its one that is waiting for some more definition of its tenements and the building of infrastructure (rail). Instead of buying back into COK I bought BWN as it is now in an earlier stage to COK and therefore cheaper, and also has some international connections (but maybe not as good as COK's connections).

BOW (oil/gas/CSG) is a potential multi-bagger according to Stockanalysis. I have no idea which is the very best of the CSG companies, I just bought on Stockanalysis' recommendation and some research on the company's website.

I like and own some OEL, which is also recommended by Stockanalysis (they put a value of 80 cents on it). I have a number of very speculative oil/gas companies which I find hard to rate, but of them CIG is worth some looking at since it has a 15% stake in PRU to help underpin its share price and highly prospective tenements in K-stan that Santos has done a $20million farm in - high country risk I suppose).

I guess the way to go is to look at companies under each of the commodity categories and see which ones you think are the best for the stage they have reached and your risk tolerance.

I have found it worthwhile to subscribe to Fat Prophets mining and Stockanalysis and use their recommendations as some sort of a screening system. However, both FP and Stockanalysis have recommended duds so their recommendations are no sure thing.
