No @presto72 I'm calling you out for trying to rubbish other peoples informative posts on coal. Try and stick with the facts. Over 40% of global coal power stations are already operating at a loss due to high fuel costs and it makes economic sense to close them to be in line with the Paris Climate Agreement as detailed in a a report released by Carbon Tracker Initiative.

The narrative is quickly changing from how much do we invest in new coal capacity to how do we shut down existing capacity in a way that minimises losses.
Coal is Dead. All the misinformation spread by websites such as wattsupwiththat.com should be treated like sewerage.
