News: DLX Australia's DuluxGroup board backs $2.73 bln takeover bid from Nippon Paint

    April 17 (Reuters) - Australian paint maker DuluxGroup (DLX) on Wednesday said it received a A$3.81 billion ($2.73 billion) takeover proposal from Japan-based Nippon Paint Holdings 4612.T .

    The proposed offer of A$9.80 per share in cash includes A$0.15 per share of interim dividend that DuluxGroup intends to pay. DuluxGroup shares closed on Tuesday at A$7.67.
