ie. JORC Compliant Resource means its an internationally recognized and proven resource.
Have a look at Ballarat Gold to see the definition of a "proven resource"
The resource is only proven in the eyes of the company representative, who is usually the Geo, who can be under pressure from the company to declare a resource/reserve.
I'm not saying this is the case here of course, but have your wits about you when you read all about the JORC Compliant resource.
