I think the relevance of the solar sector is that they are the sales people for the residential market. Most Joes ask an expert what they would recommend and why before they buy. It appears this is what they are being told when they go looking for a battery for their home. We know that people are starting to look now in greater numbers. I don't really understand why we are not pushing into the residential market - why aren't we again? There would be more margin in commercial I would guess, and sometimes the volume of residential makes gross sales good, but the costs, distance and administration needed to provide customer service on that scale really eat into that. Plus training of distributors/onsellers. It is a big job and it doesn't seem that this is what redflow do as such.

I agree that price is always a topic, but the correct explanation of the redflow technology, pros and cons, and comparison with lithium batteries - for example; the re-charge percentage remains constant throughout it's life, etc would, I believe, make the redflow an attractive battery for discerning residential buyers. I don't know what is the current cost. It used to be prohibitive in my view, but I would be surprised if the cost has remained there after so many years? What is the current cost to purchase?
