See their recent AGES presentation page 11. This shows other mines in tennant Creek. As you can see, depth is of little concern - as long as grade/tonnages are there. The Rover prospect has also not been tested above 400m - it is interpreted to start at 100m below surface.
Also note that they have 16 other targets to drill. Massive potential for more ore-bodies given that most of these tagets end up being mineralised.
As mentioned - nothing like the 4 billion tonne Olympic Dam, the Tennant Creek IOCG systems tend to be much smaller, but also much higher grade.
