I assume most of this is aimed at myself, how ironic we have these statements from Lightforce, a person who peddles pro CAT propaganda on this blog at a serial rate, dare i say its almost cult like,
I cant speak for anybody else but my scepticism and mistrust is simply based on facts, facts that any rational person can see, if they chose to look or in fact actually want to see.
My obsession is not with statsports (i don't follow them on twitter) unlike many on this blog but instead on CAT and my points are about the information we receive which determines the decision to invest in the stock.
CAT are a public company and raised more than $150 million from the market so they are legally accountable, in particular the information they provide.
As an example, I just looked at CAT's very first presentation (when they went public in Dec 2014) It makes interesting reading, i suggest others read it.

Ball tracking?
First and obviously where is the ball tracking technology?
You see this is my issue, they make a big deal of this technology, promote it massively, see link below!!

It sounds familiar because the same narrative is used for Vector TODAY!! .
As you will notice public companies do not release information about new technology or plans without putting a specific delivery date on it, for example Apple NEVER say when the next phone, tablet, watch is being released because is they do they then have to stick to the date and if they miss this delivery/release date the share price takes a hit!
So why have CAT released VECTOR info without a specific date?
Is it like the Ball tracking, all blab and no substance?
Going back to the ball tracking, where is it now? was it discontinued? did it plain just not work?
So for people like Lightforce,this behaviour ridicules all your points about other suppliers because CAT are the King's of spin and misinformation and unlike other competitors CAT are a PUBLIC COMPANY!!!
The document also demonstrates that CAT
are selling the same products now as in 2014! so after all the money raised how can the management allow multiple competitors step ahead with newer tech!
I see people on here blabbing on about R&D etc but the facts don't lie, CAT has the same products since 2012 (S5, S4 and Clearsky where available/marketed in 2012/13)
Stats, WIMU, Kenixon, Second Spectrum, etc... all have never more advanced technology FACT!
So ask yourself this, do you trust a company with little or no governance, that regularly changes its accountancy reporting, has gone through 4 CFO's in two years and a very well respected CEO.
A company that has NOT provided any information on sales for the smart ball or clearsky, A company that is clearly behind tech wise, A company that likes to release announcements with no substance (like the recent NRL one)
I could go on but see no point listing everything!
