miles, banning legal possesion of guns achieves nothing - yhe baddies will always get them somehow.

FYI, since they banned ownership of handguns in the UK in 1997, this is what happened:

1997 - Firearms crime = 4904
Homicides = 2648

2006/7-Firearms crime = 9650
Homicides = 4175

From the SSAA magazine arrived today.

So banning guns didnt achieve much did it?
Only us legal and law-abiding holders get affected.
