    Your points make no sense.

Your metafore that SAS have changed directions, to buying a "ferrari" as their first constellation..... yet they have simplified their offering, removed voice and realtime coverage option, and plan to make a smaller, less services, less number for initial coverage, less cost - and you called that a ferrari? Maybe if it's the cheapo model ?

The original 8U realtime coverage of voice, constallation of 200 in a geopositionaly niche market.... that was the ferrari.

Now they are pushing the electric bike option. It's affordable and available to everyone for what it provides. It's a proven market others are in at present, and yes they will be competing with the few others..... but at the moment there really are only a few others in that space. These guys are not selling a product, they are selling a service......... how many Telco's are there worldwide currently and why..... it's the infrastructure vs reach balance, and having infrastructure in space is a key cost and reach advantage.

I hope they can sort out their stuff and get the first full constellation up there!
