Could not agree more MI...we have a country where the majority of people have their hands out wanting more benefits, but do not want to work for those benefits.

It is utterly frustrating to watch the childish shenanigans in Canberra day in and day out.
I do wonder though how we would be going if even some of the Bills to repair the economy put up by the LNP were actually supported by Labor? It seems all efforts are continually side tracked and trashed by a bunch of buffoons intent on making a name for them selves and nothing more.

It's like no one side wants the other side to do any good in running the country as it might make them look inept or incapable.

Inflation isn't the answer, healthy industry and growth in job opportunities is needed. Sadly some have a fixation with some weird idea that creating proper jobs and industry is a threat to the human race...the weather might change.

This country has no direction...what is the long term plan? In fact there isn't one. Just mindless ideas of shutting down industry and totally hair brained ideas that building wind generators and building solar farms will somehow be the magic elixir to all our troubles.

Clive Palmer is a moron and no way would I vote for him...but one thing he says resonates; "Let's make Australia great again"...copying Trumps slogan of "Make America great again" of course.

But why not? Why not create jobs and industry? From where I sit the only jobs being "created" are Public Service jobs that rely on other people's taxes to survive.

The useless Labor Govt in Qld boasts about the thousands of jobs they have "created"...yet they are all Public Service "jobs", Government jobs paid for by the tax payers, while private enterprise in Qld is actually shrinking.

I really don't think things are going to change in this country, the economy is only going to shrink under the loons protesting about coal mining, while borrowings will increase to fill the gaps in income...there is no leadership any more, those days are gone.

Changing the Government won't fix the problem, in fact to install a Labor Government now will only exacerbate the problems we now face in the economy.
In fact the Australian economy is no more than a massive Ponzi scheme doomed to fail much sooner than people think...
