Really? I know he wasn't too happy after Kiliwani-1 but KN came in well below budget with minimal mechanical difficulties from what I understand. Mud pump engines always give the crew a hard time, especially when pushed to the limit as K-1 being an angular drilling set-up, it would really have been pushed to the limit. I'm glad KEY are Operator of new acreage now, Ken would have solid contacts to get a rig together given he worked for schlumberger for a long time. Mobilizing will be a problem though. They can get it no worries, but they'll need to pay a heafty premium.
