after reading further, Interesting to see the MinTek mobile non-Mercury process is being positioned as Environmentally friendly. I would have though using sodium hypochlorite solution (bleach) for leaching gold in an acidic medium and precipitating it from solution with sodium meta-bisulphite is still not friendly. whilst better than Cyanide & Mercury is still an environmental concern because of the formation of the comparatively stable trihalomethanes and haloacetic acids
