To get back on track, I would like to say that the performance by Garrett in the Parliament the other day was absolutely ridiculous.
To stand up and try to claim that the rebate was means-tested because it was too successful is a sick joke.
How many people on a combined household income of less than 100K are going to be able to afford to put 1 cent into a solar power scheme that takes at least 15 years or more to pay itself back??
Almost none.
Thanks KRudd, all you've done is driven a wooden stake right into the heart of the fledgling solar industry here in Australia.
