No more profiling what they have is what they have got.i said the depth of the bar was 1.4 lat but it has been declared at 1.7 lat by Qld Transport after profiling. Cyclones don’t really affect the bar there is considerably deeper water in the river and the flow over the bar keeps that area from silting up
It was said they are getting bigger barges once these arrive and things dry out I don’t think there will be many more problems.
It’s easy enough to just keep loading barges 24/7 remember there are 4 tugs and the Anchorage out side the river mouth so things can be shuffled around while still loading the barges.
I do wonder if the trucks can keep up but I’m sure they have done their sums( not dim)
