I seem to have killed an earlier thread when I posted this chart. If we're in for a similar scenario as shown for the 8 years beginning 1989, then where is the room for capital growth after fees and expenses? I would be interested to hear how you could liquidate at a profit if the need arises during a period like this if you have purchased at market price.
