Rudd followers should be called 'the guilty party' as they will be the one's responsible for what happens to Australia over the next few years, and it won't be pretty if the current befuddlement afflicking this government is anything to go by eg. ineptitude at handling a fuel price policy or weak backflips over rebate schemes for solar energy spell serious trouble when the big issues hit the front pages. After all, you can't refer everything to a Summit or a Committee.
Three cheers though for our brave Public Servants who, as our last line of defence, have risked their all to expose some of the rubbish being dished up to Australians in the guise of good policy.
How on earth could we be travelling ok one minute then in the blink of an eye, or should I say change of government, we wake to find confidence plummeting, unemployment rising, health insurance destructing, inflation rising, car companies closing down, unions lodging pattern bargaining wage claims, housing stalling etc etc. Its not as though we didn't have interest rate rises before this government came to office, is it? All this at a time when our worst drought in history has been breaking. Hmmmmm, what's not to like here I wonder.
Whether it be 'brown paper bags' or 'plastic bags' this government has the whiff of a longboarder who just caught a giant wave only to realise he can't surf. Wipeout!
