Hi DrP,
The point of the last paragraph was to say the composition is not as important as the above ground considerations of surface gasification, which I tried to highlight as having greater potential to emit GHG.
However to a large extent, my claims are unresearched (so I could be wrong), so if you can find data that proves a syngas stream produced using UCG produces more CO2 as compared to SG, then I'll accept that.
I am interested to see your calculations.
