My preference would be solar power but nuclear power is used everywhere. We don't really know what the long term risks of spent nuclear fuel may be but it's already a problem in many countries including the UK and US so what difference does Iran make?

What total and appalling hypocrisy for those countries that are brimming with nuclear weapons to seek to stop another country using nuclear energy. Just remember the US was the only country inhumane enough to use nukes on human beings.
