Hello Vincerli
I am in the same boat with (thankfully only 15k but counted as $33k assets in my SMF) which is in pension mode so capital gains/losses not immediately calculated.
Way I see this , and yet to run through with my accountant that it at least gives us a value to calculate from for Centrelink purposes.
I am not sure just how many shares there are , but if the often quoted $388m capitalisation refers back to the $2.22 closing price , then I would assume roughly 175m shares.
80% is 140 m given over to the spivs is .0025 per share or in my case the princely amount of $30 for 12k shares.
I would be left with 3k at a value of $7.50 (No doubt to be worth Zillions in 3001!) to declare to Centrelink instead of the present $33k.
Does this seem to be correct and does anyone know the exact amount of shares being represented?
Cheers
