With April wrapped up I figure its time to start speculating on the NTA in the upcoming report. (for a bit of sport - no one should get attached to short-term fund performance. These things should be measured over rolling 3 or even 5 year periods!)
In any case, I reckon we're looking at NTA of $2.25 - $2.27. Possibly the highest NTA to date.
The weightings in the snip below are not accurate - they are the weightings as of about 45 days ago, and of course, we don't know much about portfolio movements since. Regardless, good enough for a loose proxy for portfolio performance and a semi-educated stab at NTA.
Still very much pleased with the stock picking & portfolio management - just wish that damn discount to NTA would close (I'm overweight WGB so can't bring myself to add - even though I'd dearly love to).
If my NTA assumptions are right the discount to NTA is creeping up near 14 - 15%. Now that's getting a bit ridiculous!
