If my memory serves me correctly it was me who fired up the idea of gathering the shareholders (on the occasion where we actually did send the letter. I think there were mumblings earlier on about gathering the troops?). Anyway, it was also my suggestion that it would have more impact on management if the letter were to come from someone like you who has had previous contact with management and has a much larger holding than I do.
So having said that, please don't assert that you were the sole driver of the call for the EGM. Yes it was you who drafted the resolutions - which I felt would not succeed but I was happy to put my name to the list to put a rocket up management.
Due to the large cost of calling an EGM, I feel that there needs to be a lot more thought and input from a selected group of members to draft a set of resolutions that may have some chance of success.
I feel that nothing has changed and we still need to call the EGM but since you spoke to PW after your threat to sue the company you've been back on the bandwagon and the call for the EGM has fallen over.
I'm not sure how many of the original members who put their name on the list are still holders?
The new holders may not be aware of what they've got themselves into.
And @cbr1000 does read all of the posts - well he reads mine at least!!
The way the tin is shipped out is weird. Instead of purchasing a plastic barrel, they now have to purchase a bucket load of pallets and bags. (one each per tonne). The tray truck only seems to be able to carry one level and can't stack them on top of each other. Same goes with putting them into a shipping container. It is more efficient to store them in the barrels, takes up hell of a lot less room.
Just like most things that happen with this company, this is just another thing that has me shaking my head in disbelief.
