Its all about the impending corporate transaction: cap raise or farm out. Otherwise STX cant pay for WE. Thats the axe hanging over the company. No amount of saying otherwise will remove the inexorable reality contained in the quarterly cashflow. To managements credit, they are upfront about that in the text of the quarterly.
