I think Bunnings' thinks that its hardware stores can sell generic lithium car battery for $4500 a pop in the future. The cost of a new EV car battery is more than that of an old petrol car. GXY is sill unloved! But I feel that a near term bottom is being formed. The ones who buy in now will be rewarded. But for the ones who are underwater in this stock, it will take a while. There was time when it went for months with GXY share price was around 10c! It was long ago but this was way after it was near $1. So, the extreme volatility is expected over the years, not over weeks and months. Long term holders can probably rest easy unless they are close to their own funerals.
