Sure, our SP (and everyone else's) might cop a temporary slap across the face if the US keeps diving, but there's a lot to be optimistic about for the future.

Wave power is certainly gaining more widespread acceptance, and if you read the recent article about the Pelamis system in the AFR (link below), you'll quickly figure out why CETO is a screaming buy in comparison - and Pelamis is one of the industry leaders:

And while we all know about CETO and it's advantages over other systems, it seems most people have no idea it exists - even those people who should - which bodes well for the SP in the future when CETO will be impossible to ignore.

Here's an article from the Economist which seems to mention all the major systems, except for CETO! And CETO is more exciting than all of them. The major problems that the other systems are susceptible to are overcome by CETO's unique design. Once the demo plant is up and running, it will quickly make headlines around the world.

And if you think this is a ramp, you must not have read my posts before. If anything, i'm unnecessarily critical most of the time. But reading these types of articles makes me realise just how unaware everyone else is about this technology. It'll be an exciting ride when the penny drops.

And just for fun, I'm always surprised where CETO pops up on the net - this site looks a bit dodgy but at least they're better informed than the Economist!:

Taffyjuke, I saw that movement in REH last night as well. i was interested, but then there was no follow through, so there's probably nothing in it. That sort of volume in one or two trades happens occassionally and hasn't yet led to anything exciting - but you never know. And at least it's more interesting than 10,000 shares a day.

That said, I wouldnt be surprised if we hear some news pretty soon. It's been more than 3 months since the second CETO II unit went in, so you'd think something else is around the corner. I assume that Albany council will consider the public comments at their next council meeting (17th june according to the net) and if all is well, give the green light to the CETO study. Any news would be appreciated.

Also, i wonder how many CNM shares these guys will buy:

And if you're new to this thread, this is one page that says it all - when there is "red" across the board and you're losing faith, read this and you'll remember why you put a few $ into CNM in the first place.
