I don’t think I need to tell anyone on this forum that most professional investors do not invest until a company shows clear profit as they are fully aware that start up companies must struggle through turbulence as they establish themselves and lay the necessary foundations to build a healthy company no matter how good the initial concept or idea is.

On the 8th of this month SAS unfortunately will be sailing towards the perfect storm. Should new definitive agreements not be finalised with GomSpace it is likely that SAS will need to delay its operating strategy within the time frame as currently planned and consequently will have a detrimental effect on the share price.

The pessimists will obviously declare the ship is sunk or alternatively SAS and Gomspace will simply adopt a later date to finalise negotiations as the parties may come to an agreement. SAS, GomSpace and even Tesla have all recently sought funds from their shareholders as money is tight and building the foundation is expensive. It’s obviously in both SAS and GomSpace interests to come to an agreement as both will suffer without the other. Will they agree? Don’t know but both will walk away with a lower share price if they don’t.

All on this forum are here because we believe in the concept. We obviously have bought in a smidge early and have to ride it out or sell of course. In order to make big returns either put large sums in top 200 ASX stocks or put modest amounts where other traders are scared to tread for large multiples. I think SAS is one of the better latter stocks but does come with inherent risks. Struggle with funds I anticipated, Directors leaving not so much.

On the plus side response to the new global constellation has been highly positive, potential for new revenue generating agreements, the board are focussed on delivering on the opportunities and look forward to updating the market in relation to the future progress. Can SAS sink; definitely however I genuinely believe management are working hard to salvage the ship and not simply living the high life as some have expressed. What we are experiencing now is the turbulence that professionals avoid.

To the pessimists sorry realists many of you are very knowledgeable and we all have learnt much from you however some unfortunately have to learn some decorum and express their opinions objectively rather than attack individuals. It would be good to have constructive banter rather than individual attacks.
