However recent history has been going against your line of thinking. Trend has been stocks holding steady about 2 weeks out and then falling away more than the Div once ex.

Also consider that the correlations between AReits and general equities has been very high in this downturn. Running at about 0.7 verses 0.4 in a normal climate.

As illustrated in recent weeks, this stock will move with the general market
