Have the larger barges been delivered? According to the TMR website the existing barges are still being used in fact they seem to be favouring the smaller barges and not the 7000 t one which indicates to me that they are having trouble getting the bauxite onto the barges
I’m sure the three truck and trailer triples have been delivered since the other were probably owned by the previous contractor and have been removed along with all the loaders etc
Just thinking about it if they have to haul the bauxite 40 klm I don’t think three truck and trailers can do it
A round trip would have to take nearly 90 mins so 3 by 160 t is 480 per 90 mins which equates to 7680 t per day maybe that’s there problem!
