Its all about potential resource.
For LNC to be attempting to merge they obviously think and i'm sure they have capable on board their company credible scientists / geologists that have advised them that there is a very high chance that there is a huge amount of resource and a "GOLDEN" opportunity if it is accepted by the sxp's board.
