An almost 24% underperformance over 12 months and almost 22% for the year to date ! And an almost 40% discount to after tax NTA. A gr8 opportunity for the brave, or dog on the way down. The trouble is that the discount to NTA is only going to close IF performance improves dramatically, or if investors show more confidence in the stock and bid up the price. A 40% discount is fairly amazing.....I wonder if any of the directors have so much confidence in their ability, that they r increasing their holdings.? Some interesting new smaller stocks in the list. Either innovative stock picking or a desperate attempt to find another RAMS. I am down an obscene amount for an LIC, and I know that fortune favours the brave, but I already have too much “invested” with CDM that is now at the bottom of the pan and I dont want any more to disappear round the S Bend. Others opinions welcome... does the massive discount to NAV warrant a speccy purchase ? Or are the results so obvious over the longer term, that one should look elsewhere ?
