I think this following paragraph came in from Bloomberg. I copied and pasted it from Yahoo Finance, for April China NEV sales. Someone with Bloomberg access maybe able to verify it.
"One segment that kept on growing in April was electric cars, which are benefiting from a government push toward greener autos. Wholesales of new-energy vehicles, which includes plug-in electric, fuel-cell and hybrid cars, rose 28% to 91,000 units, PCA said."
In addition, Australian private and public sectors are both taking up EV quietly. I just found out that Sydney and Brisbane airports, Canberra and etc all had imported BYD bus and trucks.
