Can a 5+ child accurately determine thier pain level? Some may be able to, what if the child is inaccurate? Over/ under dosing of pain medication is the core issue..
A gold standard in pain diagnosis then monitored reduction of pain across all human age groups is the end game, which leads to correct levels of pain medication, which leads to non abuse of medication, which leads to non addiction to medication...the list goes on.
