Diligent you clearly remind me of two old sayings:
"People are usually ignorant by choice".
"A little knowledge is a dangerous thing".
Here is what you need to do. Take two weeks off work, go work shadow a teacher in a public school (preferably secondary, if you are brave enough). Once you have done that, then you can come back on here and maybe your viewpoints will earn a little more respect an less derision. I'll also be able to rethink whether those two sayings apply to you anymore.
