Laughing and ignoring prudent questions is cheap but not really clever. One might remember the original CAPEX numbers from Syrah. Now go and compare them with reality. That´s also Africa.
And although I do agree that CAPEX for a graphite mine in Canada will always be (much) more expensive than in Tanzania, I wonder about the factor. Just a few month ago a canadian company published its update economics for their graphite project. Some excerpts:
open pit
strip ratio 0.8:1
reserve grade 27.8% Cg
mine life (just P&P) 25 years
average production 51.900 t of con. p.a.
OPEX C$484 or U$359 per ton of conc.
excellent infrastructure in place.
Particularly interesting is the comparable OPEX to WKT!
Now you may think about the CAPEX amount that company has determined - in light of the WKT numbers. I am really anxious to your thoughts.
