buddy old chap. bpt does not pay a franked dividend, although why i cannot say. unfranked yes, in the past anyway, but franked no. unfortunate as it seems for us long term and long suffering holders, every time the sp appears to be reflecting the value of the reserves background, management heads off on yet another ego trip and back she goes again. given that woodside had its rush of blood to the head in overseas ventures and is now pulling back with a degree of bruising, one might ask why bpt should be considered any smarter. having seen this pattern several times before, next time the sp gets into the 1.60's range (if?), i'm out before they pull the next stunt. pity about that but the only practical thing to do. as for the latest rights, with a limit of $5000, window dressing, who would take the time to write the check.
