I just can’t help but think that WPL will make a move on FAR - especially with WPL share price approaching multi year highs.
They have too much to loose - and with a script offer, will provide shareholders with a dividend and long term benefit of SNE in the future.
A move would certainly bring the other sharks circling. I recall when Queensland Gas Company received its first bid! There were multi offers after that. QGC was a first mover in the Surat basin. Similar to FAR being a first mover in MSGB basin.
