ronsterm - my qualifications are irrelevant, other than to explain that I know the meaning of a theory.

Baron - 'But if you check my last post I ask you the same question where did life come from? '

I can tell you that my life and every other human life came from biological matter. Humans don't just appear from the ether. We don't produce test tube babies from an empty test tube and 'pray' someone into existence. Similarly, your god didn't just decide one day to put a man and woman on the earth and the show rolled on from there.

To believe the christian version of creation is to eschew all sense and scientific fact. You'd have to be seriously deluded, and that, I'm afraid is the purpose of religion - to pack away all logic and instead hand over your mind to a manipulative and wealth seeking organisation.

There is no harm in believing in a higher power or having a spiritual existence, these things are important. But to put faith into the biblical version of creation is to perpetuate stupidity. There is a dignity in the aboriginal belief systems, such as dreamtime, as they are based on a society with no science to refute it and no aims for material gain. However, there is no dignity in a movement such as christianity that denies science, merely to protect its own vested interests.
