Gday@Diver Dan how are you mate? got another futures question for you ,hope you dont mind!!! I'm finding it really hard to find out the regular day session official start and end times for each individual of the emini indexes. Mainly EMD, YM, ES and RTY. actually i suppose that EMD and ES would be the same. The method i have been using so far is to bring up a 5 minute chart and look at where the volume starts and ends. Is it like the ASX where there is a closing auction? I have searched high and low and i cant find any information on this. In the attached chart, i see a big volume bar for the open at 835. does it open at 835 or 830am? on the closing bar there is a big candle at 3 then it tapers off with each 5 minute bar. which one is it for retail traders like myself?
