Ape has just touched on it, but SpaceX, Boeing etc (i.e., these mega constellations) differ to SAS in many ways:
- Different Product to a different market
- Very different technology requiring expensive ground equipment which is not really mobile
- Different prices - mega constellations will offer a much more expensive service
- Different CAPAX (SAS approx. 200M AUD whereas the others require 5-10 Billion)
- Different Timelines - SAS will be operational from 2020, whereas others will need 5-10 years for full constellation to be ready.

Sure, the mega constellations may offer IOT and MTM, but the service cost will be more (somebody has to pay for the CAPEX!).
Anyway, again as Ape mentioned, the market is large enough for more than 1 player.
