sally2412. me too ! I came to realise this when I started to re-read a couple of Colin Nicholson books. He wrote - one of the worst things that can happen to a novice investor is to have too much success too soon! Certainly me - when I more than doubled my portfolio in just under 6 months . And ... every investor will have their day of Reckoning, before they begin to understand the markets. Yes.. me again And everything else he wrote came to pass also. Fortunately , I started to listen to wise words just in time and am extremely greatful to have learned my lessons without losing my initial capital. It certainly pays to not Ignore 'the dark side' This is the BEST THREAD EVER Hope every newbie takes note....but then again , they will probably need to be initiated just like all of us.
