Be careful there Max. The soy crop has also been affected (whats in the ground) and bear in mind that the one thing legume crops in general hate is 'wet feet'. They rarely recover. So that is why soy has been rallying as well. Also replants into soy will be looking at significantly lower than normal yields. The floods I'd say are going to be inflationary corn as well as soy. Bearing in mind soy stocks are very tight at the moment because of the large acre swing to corn last year in the US.
Shorting is dangerous in a bull market so be careful mate.
