Uranium is a remarkable mineral. As a geo student our group was always warned to wear lead fabric gloves in handling samples suspected of being at 0.25% Uranium or higher. When sampling and carrying samples, we used to have a special lead fabric lining in our packsacs to protect our backs.
The amout of latent energy hidden in each wonderful lump is mind blowing. I still regard myself as a student of this mineral even though I have had a lot to do with it; I am frequently learning something new. Conix
