I think traditional polling has had its day. When it's 4-10% out it's just laughable. But why? What's wrong with their methodology?
Many people don't have landlines anymore, and certainly don't sit around waiting for the call from the pollster. It's harder to get a select group from an electorate with the right demographics and expect honest answers from them. We don't trust the media, pollsters or people who cold call us, so either don't answer or give the answer they expect to make them go away.
