i saw your calculations on vpe thread and think it is worth re-posting here on ODN thread.
The difference between your 2 methods is that simob has given no value for EV, basically he is just putting a value on liquid assets alone. Even using simobs conservative method he comes up with 15.4c p/s as a value for ODN investment in VPE + cash.
At the end of the day we can be sure of 2 things;
1) Odn is currently seriously undervalued by somewhere between 50% and 100% depending on which method is applied, either way it is trading at much less than its NTA.
2) Vicpet is heading towards 50c + and it looks like there may be more corporate action to come. This will see ODN sitting on a sizeable profit.
