Morrisson only has a small majority in Parliament, so it's hardly a resounding victory for the LNP, and they still have to get legislation through the senate.

Labor will regroup and refocus their policies. Albanese is very popular and a much more pragmatic person and will take the fight up to the LNP moving forward.

The pressure is on the LNP to perform and deliver on their promises of tax cuts, increased infrastructure spending and large surpluses and paying down Government debt. Failure on these key issues and they are toast come 2022. If the Chinese economy falters next year, then Australia is definitely heading for a recession and increased unemployment, that is reality. Falling home values, wage stagnation and increased cost of living. A few dollars a week extra from tax cuts will do little to elevate the pain, whilst cost of living pressures are ever increasing. Electricity charges rising, food getting more expensive, rates increasing, rego going up. It all adds up and the LNP need to deliver.

Labor will have a better, more focused team for 2022 and will cut some of the more controversial policies and remove the class warfare bulls**t and refocus on core issues.
