    Hi claws,

yes there is some manipulation by insto/broker buying. But the hit since last week has been on disapointment from drilling update (I got too excited of prospect of gushers in the 1000's bpd like a lot of others), the reality is, as they said in the report these were sub-optimal wells drilled while waiting for the approvals for environment and production. Now these are in, they are ull steam ahead on production drilling, which will bring in the real bickies.

This year will be great for the holders, and the weekly traders of cvn, especially the next few months as they start hitting the 15-20kbpd and really get the convoys running.

I have been in cvn for a while now and it has been frustrating at times, as it is traded down between reports, and that may well continue, but at higher and higher sp.

July is traditionally a sell off month, as conservative investors sell off to lock in losses to get cap gains benefit, & buy straight back in, I personally would rather pay the tax, as you don't pay tax unless you are making money & I would rather make money, cap gains does not figure in my trading strategy. Just a personal view, I am not an accountant.... (probably why I pay so much tax ;|) Anyway, there is much more good news to come, just look at the average success/failure of drilling thus far.

    cheers

    steve
