    clarenceriver I couldnt agree with you more. I think that such a sale would be the end of centro.

    If management wanted to sell the services business would they be required to vote this through the shareholders?

    If so we do have the problem that comm bank is a major shareholder and (correct me if I am wrong) also one of the creditors.

    Are any of the other major shareholders creditors?

    Etrade list the major shareholders as

    National Nominees Limited
    HSBC Custody Nominees (Australia) Limited

    My hope is that any discussion of selling this aspect of the business would only occur in an attempt to "lure" in interested parties for a complete sale/takeover.
