I've received a response from Regeneus to my queries and I'm pleased to note that the reference to having a partnership to distribute Progenza in Japan is apparently just a different use of language to what has been used by Regeneus previously, and does not represent a departure from earlier communicated messaging.
I'm advised by the company that the reference to distribution reflects the expectation that within a few months the company will have a Japanese licensing and commercialisation partner, which will eventually be responsible for distributing Progenza.
