I've looked back through to 2015 at the trading halts and they are very rare with only about 6 or 7 , usually relating to funding.
The trading halts referencing diamond recovery were the lamproite discovery at brooking, the 1100 cts of diamonds found with brooking in 2018, and the "record" 404 carat diamond from lulo in 2016.
The 46 carat pink and the anything white IIA over 100cts has just been a straight announcement with no halt.
So that means it must be a major find of bulk diamonds or a "record" size.
