Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. I would rather that management of companies be reminded of mistakes that have been made - especially when many people gave them ample warning and ample advice of the very very foreseeable potential problems.
Its fine for SFR management to look after SFR shareholders, thats their job. What about TLM management? Whats their job? To not f#%k up - thats their job - and the fate of Monty is pretty clear cut in some peoples opinion.
I eventually got sick of the situation and converted most of my TLM holdings into SFR holdings, at least with them I got to take some modest profits off the table and deploy elsewhere although sentiment for most base metal miners has been rubbish in the last few years.
Continuing to hold a small parcel of TLM because I like their ground.
